It's 33 degree out. I live in south Florida. I don't even own a jacket.

Yesterday:

  • My car went in to have the air conditioning fixed and also the gas guage. It goes to about 10 gallons and then shoots upand says F even though it isn't. Got the air fixed but the gas thing was going to be $1700. I don't think so.

  • Dandy was throwing up off and on all day. I think he's trying to bring up a fur ball.

  • The septic backed up and had to have it pumped. (In related news they are digging in my neighborhood putting in City sewers, thank God!)

  • Even after the pumping one toilet was still acting up and a plumber was recommended.

  • Did I mention it's 33 degrees outside?

  • My father is having his aneurysm procedure today. I'm a wreck. I wanted to stay home and my boss was fine with that. I'd just work Saturday instead. But my dad insists he's coming home (from NY) that day and I have to be off so I can pick him up from the airport. I'm going to be useless at work today.

  • Today is my nephew's (twins) 13th birthday. Why yes, I do feel old.

Anyway, thank you so much for all your kind wished for my dad. I apologise for not replying to many comments. I'm just kind of holding myself together with nerves and for whatever reason framing replies seems beyond me. I'll catch up one of these days!

Oh, I was wrong, it's not 33 degrees out. It's 32 degrees out. What's next? Snow?

Wow your lifes a little crazier than mine right now...lol. Yesterday it was in the low 20's in my part of Texas and I'm southeast of Dallas. Don't jinx yourself when it comes to saying snow because last year down around Corpus Christie they had their 1st snow fall in over 80 years but it didn't last long though. I'll keep your dad in my prayers and I hope he has a speedy recovery.

Ouch. And here I was moaning that I wanted to take a weekend and go down to Florida.

It's 20 degrees here. And I'm off to dodge the 26.9 inches of snow that fell over the weekend. I feel your pain *can't wait for spring*

Well I was going to say, "33 degrees! It's still ABOVE FREEZING! :)" until you said it's 32 degrees...

The high today is 35 and right now it's 24. We are supposed to get snow today. But I live in Wisconsin, so that's pretty normal for February.

For a second I thought: "wow, it's really hot down there!"...then I realized that you were talking about Fahrenheit, not Celsius. :|:|:|

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your dad.

As for the weather, it was 37 in West Palm this morning -- lots of frost on the windows. But at least it's not 26 inches like in NY!

Hope all turns out well today.

Tami

Our high today is like 73, and my grandma mentioned that it's "supposed to be cool" today... Clearly my family has been away from the east coast for far too long, haha.

Your dad will be in my thoughts, I hope everything goes well for him.

And best of luck to Dandy, as well :-P
