1. Julie & Julia
2. The Olive Farm
3. Playing With Trains
4. Queens in the Kingdom

5. Tender at the Bone, by Ruth Reichl

[livejournal.com profile] court1429 recommended this author to me. I actually had this book in my hand at the bookstore a few weeks ago but put it back. So yesterday when I was at Barnes and Noble I picked it up. I read it just about cover to cover and loved every word. I'm going back today to get a couple more of her books.

One of these days I'll read some fiction. I have some sitting here waiting, I just haven't been in the mood for them.

Ruth Reichl's sequel to Tender at the Bone is also quite good. I forgot the title and I gave away the book, but I'm sure you'll easily find it. :D

YAY! Glad I could return the favor of the "Julie and Julie" recommendation. I'm the same way - I go through periods of a lot of non-fic reading and then go through times of reading nothing-but-fic. Though lately, my fic reading has come to me exclusively via my computer. ahem! ;-D
