This really bizarre concept of 'fun' seems to have entered my life. Along with might even be a social life. This has been a hallacious week at work. Not because of the job but just because of stuff kind of out of our control. Bottom line is still a whole lot of pissed off (and justifiably so) people screaming at us. So today was a little better but not much. Just as I was hanging up from a call my friend who works next to me is on what is clearly a personal call but it gesturing me to pay attention. It's her sister. They (sister and husband) are going to go to the Everest preview at WDW also. Turns out there is a passholder hotel rate of $49. So now we are going up after my friend gets off work on Saturday and staying overnight. Granted it's in a 'value' resort, which is kind of frightening, but it's only overnight. We'll drive up and try and catch the fireworks thing at MGM, which is supposed to be great but also hard to get a seat, and then go to Animal Kingdom on Sunday. Then I am going to Ft. Lauderdale the next day to see King Tut. I'm going to be exhausted. I'm used to a very quiet life.

On the other hand my plan to go see BBM by myself, if and when it ever gets to a theater near me, has been derailed by the fact that people are getting robbed at gunpoint at that theater.
Mood:: 'happy' happy

Have a wonderful weekend! It sounds like it will be terrific.

Maybe one of your friends will go see BBM with you. It's reaching mainstream audiences everywhere and most are interested in seeing it.

That is so wrong. People are crazy I tell you!

Sorry work has been "hallacious" but it sounds like you have some fun coming up. I caught King Tut when it came through LA - it's worth the crowd and ticket cost. We spent over an hour in the gift shop afterwards mocking the commercialization of Tut. I don't think I could respect a man who wore a King Tut tie nor would I pay $3 for a "tut pop" which was less than 1/3 of a Hersey bar worth of chocolate on a stick. But again - it was fun mocking everything. The books and DVD were interesting but the checkbook was not allowing any spending. Say "hi" to the boy king for me! :P

My friend bought the book but I've learned from experience that I look at those books maybe once after I get them home. A DVD sounds good too but I bet it'd be the same, I wont watch it. I've found the souvenier I actually use the most is pencils :-)

BBM is playing at a number of theaters around here...Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton. You could check it out while you're down here.

I'd love to but I'm seeing Tut with a big group. My friend's club chartered a bus and I'm going with them.
