Dubya is himself a joke. Anything he says is redundant.

I wonder inside his head (that must be a lonely place) does he really believe the crap that comes out of his mouth. I mean I'm sure at the end of the day Al Capone knew he was corrupt but does Georgie Boy truly understand who he is and what he's not? Either way we're all still screwed aren't we? ::sobbing with you::

sad thing is, he's probably dead serious.

One other thing... He and the First Lady did an annual interview with People Magazine that was in their Best (and Worst) of 2005 issue that came out, i believe, last week, and one answer in particular drove me nuts...

Question: Mrs Bush, how do you cope with your husband being under such pressure?
Mrs. Bush:We have a very normal life. We are both creatures of routine, and I think that's very helpful. We both like to work out. We go to church on the weekends at Camp David with the troops, the people who are posted there. We know them. We know their families. We've laughed at their children in the Christmas pageant every year.
The President:The other thing we're able to do is stay in touch with our friends. We've got some wonderful friends that were buddies before I was elected governor, and they'll be great friends after the Presidency. They don't spend a lot of time analyzing the editorial pages when they're around us. So it's an opportunity to relax. They are just down-to-earth. And they look at this White House and they go, my goodness, how did he get here? [Laughter]

Just... ugh.

On a somewhat related note, it reminds me of a poster that was in the room where I had Health class in High School... "Are you making friends, or drinking buddies?" Heh.

.... he should really try a different tactic. lol God knows the ones he's been using aren't working. I am still astounded that he is the president. Twice! OMG, I can't dwell on this or the day will go downhill fast. I'm looking forward to support a Barack Obama ticket in the future. Unfortunately it won't be in 2008; he's not ready (and is our country?). And I don't think Hillary can win. A friend of mine thinks Joe Biden may run again and actually might have a chance this time. I'm not sure. It's early days. Any thoughts?
