Cocktail party after work today with the owners of the company. It's always a tightrope, festive but not fancy and not over the top. You have to look as though you just came from the office and since this is not a 'holiday' party you can't look too partyish. Also jewelry has to be discreet or you look as though A: it's all fake or B: You threw on everything you own that sparkles. Who knew having a real job would present such dilemmas?

I wouldn't worry too much if I was Brian. There are people who live across the street from me that I have not seen in a decade! :) And he's smart about the car/car service, too. Being chauffeured beats competing for hailing cabs any day of the week, especially if there's a transit strike!

I hear you on the company party. You can never really let your hair down in those situations. :(

Omg that picture is the cutest thing ever. And i love that Brian wants to give the 'vette to Michael or Lindsay. And getting something for Justin in London. How thoughtful. I think this is my last comment for the month since Im going to London in a couple of hours. *Decides what to get Justin in London. :)

I like Mikey havinig the car although I can NOT see him driving something like that at all.

So, basically Brian just Justin a long note signed 'love'. Wonder where Justin is he could just talk to him.

I agree equus. I've always thought Mel has been given a bad rap by the Mel bashers. But I won't say anything more. This is not the place to vent on that particular topic. :)


Quinn, I don't say it enough. This series is fantastic. It's always one of the first places I go when I log in.


BTW, I figured they'd pick the skyloft--but like Brian I REALLY liked the loft. I think it was all the bookshelves. :)


Also, I know this is a dumb question, but can anyone tell me how to italicize in my posts?
