Everyone has posted what they think of this by now but I'm going to also-
If you've read the book and seen the film you know they cut quite a lot from the book in making the film. As far as I'm concerned that's for the better. I like the book but in retrospect I realise that I like the book I read. Which means totally skimming over the stupid free the house elves thing. That's happily gone from the film. As is most of the Barty Crouch thing and Percy's part in it. I didn't miss that either. The only thing I wish they had shown was some of the quidditch World Cup at the beginning. That cut from the opening of the match straight to the aftermath was a little harsh to me.
Nitpicking things: I'm not really thrilled with the way Gambon plays Dumbledore but not enough for it to take away from the film for me and there wasn't enough Snape.
Good stuff: Loved the boy who played Cedric, he was perfect. The girl who plays Cho is adorable, it totally makes sense that Harry would have a crush on her. The girl who played Fleur was also delightful and made her far more likeable that I found her in the book. The World Cup Stadium shot from above as the camera came over the hill was breathtaking. I was disappointed they weren't sitting in the top box as they were in the book but given what they cut out it made sense later on. The Patil girls were hilarious.
I really enjoyed this one. I liked it the best of all four so far.

Actually, after reading the book a few years ago I had a T-shirt made for her with the Irish flag on the front and 'Quidditch World Champions' on the back :-)

I appreciate your opinions and am glad you shared them. :)

But yes, I am a nitpicker, so I will say that other than this, I adored this film. The kids are becoming much better actors, and the new characters here were terrific. And I'm with you: it's the best of the bunch.
Now go see Rent! ;)

Me neither! Am I the only one who thinks he comes across as a hippy pot-head?

I think I actually got choked up when I saw that shot.
