It's time for a location check:

This is a general view of lower manhattan. 20 Thomas Street is in Tribeca.

Here is a satellite image of the same area with 20 Thomas marked on it.

This is a close in satellite view of Thomas Street, with some notes as to what some of the neighboring buildings are.

This actually is a real building, with a real address.

It's got it's own garden! The whole concept of airspace was an interesting conversation I had one night with a friend who used to live in Gramercy Park. Course over several bottles of wine any converation is interesting!

Great maps/views!

I love the entire Soho, West Village, Tribeca area. It's got great shopping and restaurants. And, of course, one of the best film festivals each year. :)

I lived in Battery Park City when I worked in NYC few years ago. So the boys will work pretty close to my building if I could stay on:)

Great shot, Quinn. I love the photos. Funny I just finished my fic where Brian and Justin move to NYC. I have the new Kennetic near the Fulton Fish Market, not very far from where you have located it. I think we all love the thought of Brian moving to NY to be with Justin. Great minds think alike.

Former Fulton Fish Market -- since they moved
to the Bronx yesterday!

You are correct. Lots of room down there now. But, like Brian comments, it still smells like snatch.

I dont know jackshit about NYC but I love the name Tribeca. It suits the area for Kinnetik.
I swear every time your tenacity to research is astounding.

I've learned I have to be. If you try and pass something off without knowing it's correct someone is bound to pop up who has either lived there, does live there, just came back from there etc. I can't tell you how many times someone I wasn't familiar with would pop out of lurkdom during Adventures to tell me I had sent the boys to their country.

Wow! Obviously as hard as Brian and Justin looked for a place, you were looking just as hard. Brian should have hired you as his real estate agent! ;)

hi, I believe that they are moving to the LMDC Area. See web site here: http://www.lowermanhattan.info/

This would be the area that was especially hard hit by the events of 9/11. Because of that business & people moving into the area are eligible for various incentives, tax breaks and other forms of assistance.
