So here's the deal. Phone and internet have been working off and on since Hurricane Wilma. Friday though the phone died completely which means the DSL wont work either. They estimate the phone will be fixed some time in December. My other line is working though. I called and asked them to change the DSL to that line. They said it would be done by Sunday. It wasn't. They said it was a mistake and it would be switched by Dec. 9th. Useless. I call back this morning to cancel changing it (why bother after all) and they told me it actually had been switched. I come home tonight and it's not working. Not it hasn't been switched and it won't be until Dec. 9th.

I have one computer that has a modem. I set it up for dial up. Useless of course for most things but at least I can be semi in touch when I'm not at work. I hate this.

I hope that date is just an overestimation. *sends hug*

I'm a dial-up user and it sucks big time but I'm hoping to be moving up town computer wise and I'll be able to get dsl soon *smiles*. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything will be fixed sooner.

Not to overly minimize the damage brough on by Wilma - but do these people have any idea of the number of quinn addicts there are out there that need their fixes????? Here's hoping that their estimate was grossly overestimated.
