I love having a real grown up job. Let me share with you an e-mail exchange that took place at work today:

Co-Worker A: Please join me in congratulating Co-Worker B in his new job as ****, where he will etc. etc. etc.....
Co-worker C: Does this mean we'll be celebrating with cake?
Co-Worker D: And ice cream?
Co-Worker E: What about fireworks? [co-worker E is on a diet]
Co-Worker B: I want Rocky Road
Co-Worker F: Is it going to be another one of those Rum cakes like we had on Monday?
Co-Worker G: We could just have the rum
Co-Worker B: The love that I am feeling right now for all of you is just overwhelming.

I love my job.

We do Cold Stone Ice Cream Cakes for birthdays at work (I highly recommend the Peanut Butter Playground) and if there is too much time in between birthdays every one gets restless. We need our Ice Cream Cake! Take into consideration that we have breakfast provided and lunch catered every day you would think we never got free food the way we carry on.

As I send this off I'm going to search the kitchen at work for popcorn.

Your work place sounds like fun. It's nice when people can have fun and kid around and socialize together. I'm lucky in that way--where I work as well. It makes going to work that much easier every morning. :)
