Here we go again

Just got home from -

BJ's, the bank (twice), Lowes, and the gas station.

Water - check
canned foods and bread - check
cash - check
propane - check
filled up the cars (one check, one do tomorrow)
ice - not yet
cookies - check
books - check
leather gloves (for putting up the storm shutters) - check

I'm pretty much ready for Wilma.

Tomorrow night we start securing the house. Please God it wont be needed but at least it will be done.

We're sitting here watching this thing too, not knowing where it will go. I have to work in the am tomorrow so will wait and see what's up when I get out about 3pm.

Adding to the stress, my poor old meezer Max, you might remember him, is very ill with probable lung cancer and all I can really do right now is keep him comfortable and pampered. He's in no pain so I'm just babying and spoiling him until it's time.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about Max. *hugs*

Yeah, I'm realy sick of this and I'm sure you are too. As far as I know I'm working until 5 on Friday but we've managed to totally clear the calendar after noon tomorrow so I'll probably be able to get out of there early Friday if I have to.

Did I tell you I'm finally going to be in your neck of the woods in December? Only the one night. My mom and sister and I are going up to Epcot to see the Christmas thing. I think I'm going to get a residents pass though. Maybe it will force me to go up there more often.

Give me a buzz before you get up here and we can see about getting together. My boss is usually pretty good about giving time off, thank God.

The Candlelight Processional is beautiful and they do it a couple times a night. Does your package include that? The preferred seating for it is good too.

That'd be great. I probably wont have time in December (unless you want to hang out with us?) but I could come up by myself in January and we could have more time.

I didn't get the candlelight package. The girl who made the reservation said it limited the menu (we're eating at Living Seas) and it's my one and only 'vacation' since the last one I took with you, so I want no limits :-)

Seriously - keep safe. It sounds like you have everything under control. As long as you have cookies all will be well. Make sure you stash some under the dining room table. :)
