I haven't played the Sims in years, but this is making want to do it again... which version(s) are you running?

This is the Sims 2 with the Nightlife and University expansions. You don't need University for any of this stuff but you do need Nightlife.

Do you have a lot of user objects downloaded, too? Or do you make your own?

I have tons of stuff downloaded and make some of my own but in these pictures almost everything you see came with the game. The downloads slow things down so much that when I really just want to play and not decorate I play a pretty much clean game. I did build all the buildings though.

That was gonna be my next question. I loved The Sims but I ended up having so many objects (I was an object shopping whore, I admit it; is there a 12-step program for it??) that the game refused to run after a while. I was wondering if things were any better with Sims 2 before I invest time and energy in a new game?
