Good morning. The new end # for Adventures is between 290 and 294. I think. I can never tell exactly how many posts a given place or situation will take until I get to it. Sometimes they have more or less to say then I thought.
They may not be snowboarding in Vermont but it's beautiful in the Fall - except for those fucked up cows, but they're sort of cute since they will forever remind us of "show me on the doll where the bad man touched you" *lol*.

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that picture! It's a real picture BTW. It's at a farmstand where they sell (among other things) the stuffed cows. I bet they bought a couple for the kids.
Yes, Brian, but when Justin thinks something is good for you, he's usually right.
I've always wanted to go to Vermont and now I'm certain of it...I wanna peep leaves, too! Only I'd never be able to drive even as far as Justin has. I'd have driven into that field of fake cows. Moo!

Haha, take a tour and let someone else do the driving for you.
I don't blame Brian. Ever since they finished the Big Dig in Boston, traffic's become, like, worse. And let me tell you -- there's no speed limit. Red Light means stop if you want to.

I think people are suffereing under the delusion that the Big Dig somehow 'fixed' the traffic pattern there so they think they can drive there when they never would have otherwise. I think it was a great project and good for thed city in terms of getting rid of something that never should have been there in the first place. But nothing is going to change the fact that the city was laid out in the 1600's. When traffic concerns were somewhat different than they are now.
It's my hometown and I wont drive there unless I have absolutely no choice at all.
I just started school in the Boston area, and I've recently discovered the traffic problem. My favorite part is how the pedestrians don't seem to care about the traffic signals either.
I actually let out an excited little squee as Vermont started to pop up on my screen! My BFF and I actually had plans to go at the end of Sept '01, but she flipped a little post 9/11 and we ended up not going.
I still really want to do that one of these days. Until then I'll continue to live vicariously through our boys. :)
Even though they won't stay the night, I'm glad they finally got to Vermont together. I've driven the new central artery system in Boston--it's definitely confusing the first couple of times!
Love, love LOVE Boston. I was there about a year ago, in October, when the leaves were just beginning to change, and it was gorgeous. I'm sure you have that portion of the manips completed, but I have some fun pix of the 360 view on top of the Hancock tower, as well as some random Harvard/Freedom Trail/etc shots that I'd be willing to pass along if you're interested. If not, I look forward to see what you have the boys set to encounter :)
I'm glad they're doing one last hoorah through New England - so pretty.
If it's okay with you, what I'll do is set up a separate photobucket account and upload all the Boston pics I have that might be applicable... and then I'll e-mail you with the album name and password, then you can feel free to use whatever you'd like.
If you'd rather I just send photo attachments, let me know, but I figured this way, it would be easier on space, and give you more options.
OH, PS: are you aware that John Hancock's tombstone is somewhat.... phallic-shaped? This might be something worth mentioning. Hehe. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not... but it definitely looks like one nine-foot-tall penis... lol.
Wow you took them to one of my favorite places. The place my dog was born, where one of my oldest friends lives, where my god-daughter hopes to ESCAPE from next year. I love driving up there at any time of the year. Its always so pretty, thought I have to admit my favorite is after a heavy snowfall when all the snow is stuck to the trees and only the people who actually have a clue how to drive in the snow are out on the backroads.
God, I spent a great week in Vermont between Christmas and New Year's one year. It was beautiful. I took a horse ride in the snow and went on a great tour of Ben and Jerry's among other things (shopping, etc.). I love that Justin's looking at a map and Brian's resigned 'sometimes it's easier not to argue'. He's come a long way!
hey, it's home! hi, Vermont! hee. I've never seen so much love for my state before. then again, live there for fifteen years and your mentality goes from:
"ooh, teh pretteh!"
to
"moo"
but, yis. now that have moved, appreciate it more I does.

Oh they all feel that way, trust me. Look both ways and then look both ways again and then run like hell.

I keep expecting Quinn to spring a surprise wedding on us. After all, this drive was not planned.... who knows what else lurks around the corner. ;)
Vermont is beautiful... I've visited there many times. It's a beautiful drive down from Ontario in the Fall. :)

Hmmm, now wouldn't that be sneaky!;)
I love New England in the Fall. Of course, I'm somewhat biased living in Southern New England.
