I watched S3 yesterday and I have to say that the scene with his mother in 304 just tears my heart out and shreds it to ribbons. I had to pause the DVD after the scene because I was too teary to see the screen. So I guess maybe I'm still a little too raw from that, but damn if this didn't make me cry all over again.

I'm just so glad that he has Justin to know exactly what he needs,
I think Justin is really the only person who has ever bothered to really find out what's best for Brian and what he needs in the way of emotional support.
That was a very surprising entry, especially since they'll be back in the Pitts. so soon. Is there some underlying reason your brought Brian's mom out of her crypt at this point or am I just reading too much into it?
Justin knows exactly how to make Brian feel better...privacy, sex and booze. Now, that's a good partner for him! It's why we know the boys should always be together....

Brian's personal integrity is a testament to his character, given the example he was set.

Yes and yes ;-)
There is a reason I wrote this one but it's not some awful fore-shadowing.
