I got a gift card to Dillards for my graduation and I finally went there today, planning on buying a bag or a pair of shoes. Turns out they are having a huge sale. Everything that is already on sale (which is about 75% of the contents of the store), has an additional 30% off of the sale price! I got a great pair of shoes for $17.00. A dress I'd been eyeing for $30.00, a pair of expensive jeans for about $25.00. The only thing I bought that was not on sale was a Fossil messenger bag. It was the bag I wanted and I didn't see anything else I liked as well. So my New Job Shopping Spree is just about over and I still have gift card funds left for some lingerie and anything I might need that I forgot.
I have to tell you, Dept. store gift cards are the Best Graduation Present Ever for anyone who might be headed to new employment.

Bascially you read ads for points, when you get enough points you can cash them in. I use a dummy email account.
I cash mine in for department store gift cards and buy MAC.

Nope you get and email advertising something like Blockbuster video or vista print business cards.
Towards the bottom it say something like
show me more, I'll get 5 points for clicking this message.
Click it, let the window open and that's it. Also if you shop through their site to places like Barnes & Noble, Overstock etc.... you get points for every dollar you spend.
Read about it at www.mypoints.com
You can sign up there or I can send you an invite. I get added points for friends referrals, but don't feel obligated. I manage to click enough ads to get a $25 gift certificate about every 6 months or so.
