I decided to go to the midnight party at B&N and dragged my sister and nephews along. We had a great time. It was mobbed but we got there early enough (9:30) that I had a good coloured ticket and had our books by 12:20.

Now to resist reading it right this minute since I have to work tomorrow.

ETA: They also gave us a rather nice poster and some coupons, including one for 20% off Eldest when it ceoms out in August.

I can't put a book down when I get it. I have read quite a few books straight through and have gone to work on little to no sleep. Pretty scary stuff when you think about how much money I'm responsible for on a daily basis - 8 figures. Eiiiikkkkk!!!!! And what's the worse that will happen - you'll get fired from BB? I'm sure your worst day is better than the best day they get from most people. :)

Yay! :D There weren't any midnight parties here - I went at nine-thirty and saw all these people walking out carrying what was clearly The Book... for a second there, I was worried I might be too late. :-O I needn't, though, as they had stacks and stacks left. One of the pros of living in a non-English-speaking country, I guess. The kiddies tend to wait for the translation to come out. Happy reading!
