I don't much like cell phones. I had one once but I used it maybe twice in a year so I got rid of it. Now I have another one. The ring tones are horrible and annoy me. I went to see about downloading new ringtones but I have no clue what they are talking about with the pricing. Can anyone enlighten me? 1 use? 10 use? What does that mean? The phone rings once and I have to buy the ringtone all over again? That doesn't make sense.

I'm very confused.

i dont know what provider you are using, on mine, when it says 5 uses it means you have 5 songs to download. so if one song cost 1.99 they will charge around 7.00 for 5 songs to save money! hope this helps a little.

I believe it means that you buy, basically, a token. A 1 use token means you can get one ringtone after you pay. A 10 use token means that you will be able to download up to 10 ringtones after you pay. Buying ten is handy because you don't need to buy them all at once - you can download 1 or 2 now, and then any period of time later, download another, and so on.

That's how it works for me on Verizon, anyway.

Thanks, I have Verizon so that must be how it works.

I don't know much about cell phones. I only use mine in case of an emergency... like if I was bleeding out my eyes, or something.

A use is a credit to download a ringtone. Therefore, ten uses would allow you to download ten ringtones. You can keep the ringtone on your phone as long as you want.

Thanks, wouldn't you think they'd explain that somewhere?

You can also assign differnt people different ringtones. This is helpful if you are one of those people who may in a rush pick up without looking at caller display.
I have tmobile so I'm not 100% sure how it works on Verizon, but it's prob similar.
