Thanks everyone for all the good wishes on my new job. Now you'll be subject to my nervous ramblings as I get closer to starting there! I gave notice at BB and will have a week off before I start the new one. My brother and SIL and family are going to be visiting that week so it should be fun.

Also - Because of the pace That I work at I don't really have time to fuss over the manips. Sometimes I don't really think some of them are that good but I'm out of time so I have to use them. Other times I really like the way they come out and can't wait for you to see them. Yesterday I think I did my very favourite one ever. I immediately made it my new PPC wallpaper. I've never done that before. So you have a treat in store in a few days. Assuming you like it as well as I do of course.

Anyway, enough chatter,

I don't think I've ever told you before, but Adventure is an educational experience.

Thank you.

These pictures are awesome :). My dad is a Vietnam veteran and he was stationed not far from Da Nang and so I've seen some of his pictures that he took of his unit. Either way I've seen some of the pretty sides and these stories just give me more of an insight into how beautiful that country is.

What great pictures. I so want to travel someday, and Vietnam is probably on my list.

I'm also anxiously awaiting your BME!! (Best Manip Ever) ;)

I don't think I congratulated you on your new job, hon, so CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so proud of you. And enjoy that week off: you deserve a break. Have fun with the bro and family, and let us know how you like the job when you can.

*hugs*

I'm falling in love with the beautiful side of current day Vietnam. I've never heard of "water puppets". Definitely write about your upcoming job--that's what LJ is for, we're just spoiled by your dedication to "Adventures"!

Regarding the water puppets, I had this really weird thought about sychronized swimmers under the water manipulating the puppets!

Really fresh ducks...too funny!

A friend of mine recently traveled to Vietnam and when she told me about her trip it was nothing like I expected. So much color and energy! I like the water puppets but don't get them either. LOL And let me add my congrats on the new job... feel free to ramble away!! ;) Nerves are a good thing; it means you're up for the challenge. And having some family around for moral support is always nice.

Heather :)

Catching up! Love the comments about the mornings in Vietnam drawing them both as artists, and the duck caption. ;))
