Sorry about missing a couple last week. I was feeling overworked and under appreciated by pretty much everyone and PMSing like crazy. Needed to take a break.
I have become such a bad commenter here. *hangs head* But I still love ti and always will, just so you know. The comment on Michael's dad is hilarious!
you never cease to amaze me; another great installment. And the Deb - Michael - daddy thing is a great tie-in
Thanks, Debbie just popped into my head the second I decided to send them to Vietnam. I kept thinking about her smoking with Brian and talking about Grace Slick.
I love the adventures you're taking us on and I hope you know we do really appreciated although often times we're left drooling over your sexy manips to actually function well enough to comment. LOL.
It is a visceral reaction from most Americans when we hear anyone has gone to Vietnam on a vacation. There is this immediate disconnect. I wonder if it was so for people after WWII when they heard someone was going to Germany. Yeah, I wonder about Jack; he always seemed a bit shifty to me. LOL!

I never really thought about it but he would have been of an age to be drafted. He certainly wasn't a college boy. I don't think being a steel worker got you out of Vietnam. But I'm 100% certain he didn't serve. So was it just luck and he got a low drft number or what?
Originally my Dad used that he was sole support for his Mom then after he got married he used that and me and my sisters. he kept moving further and further down in the draft not sure how it goes but he start off as only support for my grandma because my uncle was already married and he had already served. Then student stuff and my grandma lowered him more then when he got married and had the 3 of us he finally got too old. Personally I think my Dad knew exactly how to play the system he never wanted in so he did everything in his power to stay out.
You know when you didn't post for a few days, I started to post a message, but I thought I was being selfish not allowing you to skip a day or two. Just so you know I did miss logging on in the morning and not see an Adventures post.
I'm with Debbie, guess that goes with the age. Alot of my friend were in Vietnam so seeing these places from the boy's perspective has been quite interesting. Once again- my hat is off to you.

lol, thanks. I think it was a combination of not getting that phone call last week when everyone said I was going to and then the whole PMS thing.

It wasn't hard to find beautful pictures of Vietnam, it seems like a lovely place now that it's not a war zone.
