Sorry for the delay in posting this morning. Technical difficulties on the order of stupid mistakes by moi. Adventures will be up very soon followed by F&S caps.

In other news, As you may have seen below I was accepted to the University of my choice. That's the good news. The bad news is that they are only offering me student loans and no grants. I specifically stated no loan on my application because I can't afford to pay them off. So everything is up in the air again.

Is there any way you can negotiate with them? Or try to apply for some private grants? I have no idea how this kind of thing works, but if it's the University of your choice, I'd say keep fighting for it.

Don't give up. I sent my oldest off to college last year. If you have a solid transcript than you should make an appointment with a financial aide rep. Universities are money-making institutions, so you have to charm them while they try to con you. (Sometimes subtle begging works.) Good luck!

Check some of the PHEAA websites, they sometimes have links to legit scholarships. You have to apply but they are out there. Find out how long your acceptance is for and if need be delay your admission while you gather more funds.
