I wasn't going to comment on the whole spoiler wank thing but I feel compelled to offer something (other than the obvious "Get over yourselves you jerks. And yes, you know who you are.")

I am not totally spoiled so please only talk about specific spoilers I mention in comments, thanks.

As near as I can tell without being entirely spoiled a lot of good things are going to happen this season. Yes, I wish Brian and Justin were physically together at the end but they are emotionally together and still have a real, valid, loving relationship. Correspondence was entirely based on that idea so I know it works and is loving and real.

Now, as for Justin going to NY. It's not the end of the world and I speak from experience. My parents have been married for more than fifty years! During that time my father was away from home more than he was home. They had (and have) a very succesful, loving marriage. There is no reason Brian and Justin can't do the same. Justin is going to be about five hours away by car. That's a very easy drive people and an easy flight. It's not as though he's going to Tibet or something.

Leaves tons of room for fanfic too :-)

you're quite right and if people don't start calming down about the NY job, we may have very few left to watch cause many may have to be institutionalized from breakdowns..I kind of look at this as I did the ending of season 4. We complained because B/J didn't hug and kiss at the end of the bike ride. then we complained when B told J he wanted to make room in his drawer for his drawers( however he phrased it)..people were outraged because it wasn't romantic enough. Thing is, Cowlip will write it the way they want and thank God we have people like you to write it the way we want...I think I'll be reading MUCH fanfic, lol...

It also leaves it open for a TV movie... well, in my dreams anyway. LOL

But I TOTALLY agree with what you said, Quinn. Thank you!

oh, you are hilarious. Who's gonna play Brian and Justin?

Hey - I admitted it was a dream. LOL No one other than Gale and Randy can EVER be Brian and Justin.

So laugh at me all you want, but let me have my silly little fantasies, mkay? ::grin::

The wank over [livejournal.com profile] bigboobedcanuk's spoilers pisses me off to no end...I shant even get started on it, I'll just say that people ought to be greatful and happy that she told us *anything* at all.

About Justin going to NY...I'm pretty upset by that actually. I don't mind him leaving PA but I want Brian to go with him. You never know though, perhaps they discuss Brian moving to NY and we just don't know about it yet. I just can't stand the thought of them physically apart. But then again, I'm sure they can't either and I have hopes that (at least in fanfiction) they rectify that problem soon after Justin leaves. I've been a big shipper of the whole 'Brian and Justin strike out on their own/take on the big bad world outside of PA together' thing. So here's hoping Brian goes to NY too.

I also have a comment about what boobs said the last scene was going to be but I won't mention it here in case you don't know and don't want to know what it is. If you know tell me so I can tell you my mini rant ^_^

I fully agree. I posted much the same, but I think also about more spoilers than you know of. It's kind of a non-traditional way to end with the relationship, but Brian/Justin aren't very traditional in the first place. <.g> It suits them, and I think it will work well for them. Plus, you know, bring on the fic! Lots of places to play when the canon is gone, and that's always fun.

I agree completely. Long distance relationships are very common these days.

Yes, I am calming down now. Every now and then I do feel a twinge at the thought of Brian left in the Pitts while Justins takes off for NY... but I've realized that him going to NY is absolutely the right thing to do. And Brian would never have it any other way. And if they're together emotionally, then that's all the reassurance I need.

Aside from a teeny tiny hint that Brian will follow him to NY soon. ;)

Thanks for the post. I love what you told about your parents. Makes total sense!

Great post, Quinn. Your parents story has inspired me. I dated someone for 2 years and commuted from Philly to NY & vice versa (easy and fun) but for the last year it has been Philly to Boston and it's alot further and it sometimes seems like too much. You need to be dedicated and committed but it is possible to deal with distance and be much stronger for it. Graduate degrees demand dedication but traveling back and forth is not a death sentence.

And more fanfic...always a good thing.

I thought of Correspondence while I was reading comments about the spoilers.

hey, I spent 12 years w/ someone in London while I was in Boston. Kept us from killing each other.
