I have a confession to make. I'm not a huge fan of baseball (no, that isn't the confession) but I do enjoy going to a game now and then. We have a nice stadium where I live and a pro team comes every year for spring training plus we have the minors. I try and catch a game or two every year. Now, I may be alone in this thinking, but I really enjoy watching catchers. Seriously. This may be one of the sexiest positions in all of sport. Granted there are exceptions to every rule but take a look at this photo:

I chose this photo at random because it illustrates the example, not because I am necessarily a huge fan of Mike Piazza. Seriously though, check out his legs. Those guards that catchers wear make their legs look incredibly sexy to me! I know, it's weird but there you go. I've always felt this way. I once posted a photo I took of a baseball catcher to my LJ wondering why Brian Kinney wasn't a huge fan of the sport. Right before Adam left for Australia he was photographed leaving a rehearsal space or a costume shop or something holding some pieces in his arms, they looked to me like catcher's shin guards of the old fashioned leather variety, but I couldn't imagine why he would have them so figured I was wrong. Then he showed up in Australia wearing them and they had been totally spiked and bedazzled! Given all the other lunacy going on with his outfit at the time they sort of flew slightly under my radar as something noticed but not commented on. All this inevitably brings me around to this:

The same ones worn over white jeans (and sparkly platform boots.) Aside from the total hotness factor this so plays to my catcher's legs kink you have no idea. Also, Tommy is wearing a tail.

ETA: Someone on _ai did the math and worked out the combination of the boots and his hair up puts him at just about 7 feet tall here.

I am full of rage today. Or maybe rage is too strong but I Am Very Upset. How's that?

My mother, bless her, has been fighting with the bank for months. My dad had two bank accounts. One was one of those investment type accounts and the other was a joint checking account with my mother. He paid the bills out of the one in his name. When he died she closed that account and began paying the bills from her own account. Even though the other account is closed the bank keeps sending payments from it, which of course bounce. She has gone there four times to try and straighten this out and just today she got a notice her car payment bounced. I looked and saw all her payments had gone out as scheduled so I called the bank that has her car loan to see if she had any missed payments. She doesn't. She has been double paying and is ahead for six months. Her self-storage place sent her a letter saying her check bounced and they are going to turn her over to the sheriffs. Now of course that's just a tactic but it scared her to death. I AM OVER THIS. I'm going to work late Monday so I can go to the bank and tear them a new one.

Do not make my mother cry or you will face my wrath.

I will not even go into what went on at the car dealer today but suffice to say they were falling all over themselves to try and make a deal with me as I walked out the door. They don't like it when you leave.
