I've pretty much made up my mind that I'm going to get most of my hair cut off. I am now strategically working towards that. I'm looking around for a style I want and in the meantime I am preparing the men in my life for this. men are insane about long hair. I started by some gentle complaining about how my hair was driving me nuts and then last week I just started flat out telling them I am planning to get it cut. So far so good. Only one has flat out told me not to do it. He told me he would be 'very mad' if I did. I then asked, "But will you still love me if I do?" and he replied, "Yes, but I will not talk to you for a month." I am not even involved with this man, he's a friend and yet he is mad over me getting my hair cut. Men have some sort of visceral reaction to womens hair.
