I think I need to get one of those rolling bags to haul my stuff to and from work. I'm pretty sure my backpack is closing in (or has passed) the 50 pound mark. I'm a grownup, should I still be carrying a backpack anyway? In making this absurd list I don't even see anything I can do without.

I don't even care for this bag but haven't wanted to buy a new one.

Anyway from front pocket to back:

Front pocket-

  • a couple of pens

  • spare office keys

  • lanyard

  • spare batteries for point and shoot camera.

  • Spare quick release for small tripod head

  • tiny mouse

Open pocket

  • Office keycard and restroom key on lanyard

  • Tissues

Second (largest) pocket

  • handbag with usual handbag items in it

  • Samll bag with a few medical items (tylenol, tummy medicine, prescription, bandaids etc.)

  • Laptop lock

  • Digital SLR camera body

  • Two camera lenses

  • speedlight

  • spare quick release for large tripod head

  • card holder with spare memory cards for cameras

  • screen cleaner

Small electronics pocket

  • two iPods

  • cell phone

  • assorted cables

  • glasses

Back pocket

  • Laptop

  • Power brick for same

  • point and shoot camera

  • portable hard drive

  • cables and USB port for same

  • small amount of paperwork and photographic releases

Needless to say this bag is never out of my sight when it's out in public!

Anyone who has to carry tons of stuff on a daily basis have any recommendations for a bag? Needless to say it needs to be able to provide protection for both a computer and for camera gear.
