I’m thankful to have all of my family safe and my house standing and nearly repaired.

I’m thankful to have both of my parents and to have my dad recovering and gaining strength.

I’m thankful for my uncle, who is such good company and who takes such good care of Dandy when I’m not home.

I’m thankful for my sister, who is funny and beautiful and loving and kind and who makes up one third of our traveling party. I love traveling with her and my mother and am so blessed to be able to do so. I’m also thankful for her family and that they live close by.

I’m thankful for my wonderful brothers and their wives and kids.

I’m thankful for Dandy, who brings me such joy.

I’m thankful for my friends, who make me laugh, who care about me, to whom I can turn in any situation.

I’m thankful for my job and the people I work with.

And I’m thankful for all of you. There are days when I’m sure you don’t know it but you really help me make it through tough times. You make me laugh, you educate me, you entertain me, you touch me, you enrich my life.

I wish all you a blessed year. You may not be celebrating Thanksgiving today but I am and I am thankful for you.
