I worked Friday but other than that (and being on call) I've been on vacation since Christmas Eve. Tomorrow it's back to the old routine. Today I met my best friend for some book shopping and lunch. BOth of us were on call but we finally decided to just get together anyway. It's easier for her. Her calls are about dead people. Mine are alive and require call backs. She works for a church and gets calls about funerals. One of those things you don't really think about unless it's your job.

I've speant a great deal of my vacation getting my ass kicked by Prince of Persia 3, which probably explains why I am so far behind on Changes. I'm writing them the night before I post them, which makes me nervous.

I finished my second book of the 50bookchallenge, The Olive Farm by Carol Drinkwater. It was okay. I don't particularly recommend it, it's kind of draggy and I found myself skimming in places. So:

Right now all I want to do is fall asleep but I have to go put a chicken on my grill.
