After much soul searching I've come to the conclusion that I will not be able to go to school this fall. I just cannot take on any more debt. I'll apply again in a year and hope for a better financial aid offer. I'm telling myself I could use a year off and it's true.
On the job front everyone at the Potential New Job seems to be operating on the assumption that I will be hired. It's just a matter of time. They are pushing Busy Boss Man to please call me ASAP. I've been told that he had my resume in his hands yesterday and actually read the entire thing, thus discovering that we attended the same college and one of his kids was born at the hospital in NY that I used to work for. I'm hoping he sees those as positive things!
