Here are a few things that happened today. None of them are related in any way to each other but whatever.
1 - There was some concern among my friends about the girlfriend of the girl who was killed yesterday. The mother of the deceased is a die hard Catholic and everyone was afraid her girlfriend would be shunned and left out of the funeral planning. Thank God that didn't happen. She was invited to participate in everything and went with them to the funeral home today.
2 - Yesterday we sent a tech to a customer's house because his internet wasn't working. This guy is a frequent flyer so we figured it wasn't our issue. It wasn't. Our computer connected no problem. He has a computer issue. We provide internet to their houses, we don't fix their computers. He called today to report that his internet isn't working. ...um. We knew that. Did you get your computer fixed???
3 - Today is my splurge day. I had half a crab melt for lunch and we went out for fried clams for dinner. The real kind, not the strips. I'm feeling the pounds adding up.
4 - my vacation is 27 days away. OMG I can't wait!
5 - Repair and reconstruction begin on the house next week.
6 - Gale is going to be in a play and I can't afford to go. I promise I won't whine about it too much.
7 - I'm working tomorrow which kind of sucks but see numbers 4,5 and 6 above. I need the $$
8 - I'm tired. I'm really really tired. It's been a very long week. I'm not looking forward to the alarm going off at 5:15 tomorrow morning.
This is kind of a depressing post. Sorry. I hope it's PMS. I'm not usually so gloomy.
